Katherine Cleland leads and coordinates a group of talented professionals and independent contractors to aid clients in achieving their profit and growth objectives.
In addition to applying her own skills, she works to match the talents and strengths of marketing, design and web professionals in a broad network with the needs and cultures of the company’s clients.
With 35 years of marketing experience, from Brand management at Clorox consumer products to Section Manager of Marketing at Hewlett Packard’s multi-million dollar InkJet Supplies group, with worldwide responsibilities, Ms. Cleland decided to take her experience and focus on start-ups and small businesses in 2001. Since then she has written hundreds of business and marketing plans, has coached more than 1000 businesses, and had delivered results. Wanting to leverage her skills further, she leaned into small business coaching thru the Oregon, California and Idaho SBDC’s, giving workshops, webinars and 1:1 coaching as a business advisor and marketing specialist. Not wanting to stop there, she has been lending her skills to non-profits through the 501 Commons organization in Washington, offering workshops on digital marketing, Google Ad Grants and social media marketing to non-profits throughout Washington state.
ClelandMarketing was founded in 2002, to focus on technology commercialization and start up marketing. As our clients have grown we have expanded our work to include small and medium sized technology, industrial and B2B Clients. We have served a broad range of clients for hundreds of projects, acting as virtual marketing teams, providing full service marketing or project based activities. We stand behind our work, and we deliver results!
